Step 1
Explain to us what’s happened
Contact us by telephone, email, live chat or via our website contact forms to explain your circumstances.

If necessary, an agent will ask you to provide further information or supportive evidence.

To ensure that you have an informed point of contact throughout the investigation process, a single agent will be assigned to your case.
Step 2
Free initial investigation
Before we offer definitive advice or guidance, we conduct an initial investigation (at no cost) to fully understand the nature and complexity of fraud involved.

This stage of the process varies on a case-by-case basis and takes into account the resources required to conduct the investigation.

This may include considerations towards cross-jurisdictional legal requirements or whether we need to draw upon external investigative resources including the National Crime Agency (NCA) or specialist UK or foreign police units, or Interpol.
Step 3
Strategy and cost proposal
We discuss our initial findings with you and write a detailed investigation strategy/cost assessment for you to consider.

When all points are agreed we sign a formal, legal contract of investigation.

All costs remain fixed and can not increase, regardless of how the investigation expands.
Step 4
Formal investigation
Any outstanding supportive evidence is obtained from you and the investigation begins.

Your case manager keeps you informed at all times with regards to progress.

The length of time it takes to conclude investigations varies significantly based on the type of investigation required. We’ll be able to give you an informed guideline during our initial conversations.

We fully understand the sensitivity of fraud-related cases and the personal trauma it can cause. We ensure therefore that all investigations are none intrusive and are handled with the utmost degree of care and confidentiality.

Conducting an initial investigation ensures that our forward strategies and cost assessments are both well informed and accurate.
All cases of fraud are vastly different and require different strategies to resolve.
Once we understand your circumstances we can discuss the best options to move forward, including costs.
Although it is standard practice for us to charge a commissioning fee, we do occasionally accept cases on a Pro Bono, or back-end success fee basis.
